Worlds Largest Cruise Ship Is On Her Way!

MSC Cruises have recently announced they have a brand new ship on order, this is set to be the largest cruise ship at sea beating the current largest ship the Harmony Of The Seas owned by Royal Caribbean by 70 cabins meaning she will hold a capacity of around 6850 passengers! This mega ship will be 200,000 tonnes!

The computer generated image that MSC have released shows a really futuristic looking liner, completely different to anything currently out there , very sleek looking;

It is likely these ships are going to be called the ‘World’ class and will be LNG powered meaning they are run by liquefied natural gas, MSC are hoping to eventually have 4 ships in the ‘World’ class which will be environmentally friendly.

MSC cruises are know for there beautiful ships, and i am sure this new class will be no exception. You can except to find beautiful atrium’s, an array of bars and some of there current ships even have a Swarvoski staircase, if you have ever wanted to walk on diamonds these are the ships for you! Children will love the waterslides and i am sure there will be a fantastic choice of slides on these new ships to keep the children happy!

I have sailed on the Allure of the seas which is one of the largest ships currently holding around 6000 passengers and loved it, you really didn’t notice she was such a big ship and her areas were never busy, I think you either love the big ship feel or you don’t, personally I am a lover, I would choose a large liner over a small liner any day!
