Emma On Cruise

Missing The Sunshine Already

And I have only been back a few days!

I have just enjoyed a family break on the Canary Island of Tenerife, and boy was it great to feel the warmth on my skin! We travel to the Island at least once a year and have done since I was a little girl myself and now its turn for my little boy Alfie to take his annual trip too!

We stay in the Costa Adeje area just outside of Playa De Las Americas which is a quieter more family environment with plenty of bars and restaurants. Weather was fabulous and it was a lovely break away.

But it is not just land holidays I have taken in Tenerife, I have also cruised into the North of the Island. The Canary Islands are a hugely popular cruise destination especially during the winter months for warmer climates and you can embark on sailings from Southampton along with fly cruises also during the winter months only. Cruising gives you chance to experience all of the Islands or nearly all on most cruises. My last cruise to the Canarys was on the P&O Azura, one of my favourite ships and we decided to take an excursion to Siam Park, if you love waterparks and are visiting Tenerife on  land holiday or cruise Siam Park is a must, its absolutely amazing with some of the best water rides in the world! It is around a 1 and a half hour drive from the port if you are sailing in but definitely worth the trip!

We are heading back in August again and will be pre booking our tickets to Siam Park, Roll on August for more sunshine, warmth and family time!
