Why Dorset Opened My Eyes!

As some of you may know at the end of last month I was fortunate enough to take some annual leave with my hubby and we embarked on a week long family holiday to Sunny Dorset.

Known as the English Riviera this south coast Farm House was supposed to be a chance for our family to get some well deserved quality time and hopefully some relaxing days in Poole Harbor or on Bournemouth beach.

We couldn’t have been more blessed with the weather and to be honest in this part of the UK if the sun is shining you really couldn’t wish to be anywhere else.

We were so blessed to spend time with our siblings and nieces and nephews. We booked a year in advance and were really looking forward to our Farm House Mansion retreat.

I discovered a passion for Meditation and Yoga as it was such a peaceful surrounding my sister in law introduced me to some wonderful mindfulness courses and apps and we all spent a lot of time self reflecting and very much relaxing and recharging the batteries.

It wasn’t all a walk in the park, most of my family wanted to zip line across Bournemouth pier Me and my husband gladly looked after the kids. We also went to Pepper Pig World and got an amazing set of photos at sunset on a gorgeous cove in Dorset, we visited a miniature town had afternoon tea and even rode a steam train to Swanage.

It was my sister in Laws wedding anniversary so me being the Romantic type decided we should arrange something special for them.

Ill let the pictures do the talking but suffice to say they loved it.

I must say I would never usually take a seven night break in England but this trip has shown me if you are blessed with the weather you can have the most amazing time when your surrounded by people you love.
