A New Home for Magnifica

News this week is that MSC Cruises have announced that Magnifica will be spending the whole of 2018 Season in Southampton.

MSC Cruises was found back in the late 80’s and since then has become one of the fastest growing Cruise Lines out there with a 15 Ship fleet to date and more planned in the near future.

Magnifica is part of the the 4 strong Musica Class and was launched back in 2009.

She carries upto 3200 passengers within her 92,000 Tonnage and is certainly a force to be reckoned with.

The ship has 5 gourmet restaurants, 12 bars and 5 different kids and teen club venues as well as the award winning MSC Aurea Spa.

She will be sailing from April onwards and will be doing a mixture of upto 14 day itineraries including Spain, Portugal and Germany.

They have handpicked the itineraries based on feedback from Passengers and agents too.

Although a Mediterranean line, MSC have listened to their past guests and will be introducing Kettles into each cabin which I know for sure will be a huge bonus for those Tea drinking Brits out there. I love a nice cup of Tea in the morning sat on my balcony waiting for it dock.

They are also going to be introducing a British flavour into the Menu too with a Roast Dinner planned as well as Afternoon teas too. In the bar areas you will also be able to ask for John Smith’s or a Guinness. These 2018 sailings will also benefit from an All Inclusive package with WIFI included as a bonus. Sounds like the UK market have really taken this Cruise Line to their hearts so much that MSC are wanting to keep them happy and is listening to their feedback and seems to be acting accordingly. What more can you ask??
