P&O Iona now on sale!!

The day has finally arrived that P&O brand new ship Iona has gone on sale to the general public and boy has it been popular. As a company we had over 200 people pre register for this new ship. We were taking £1 deposits to secure you a place in the queue and try and get you the best cabins available as soon as they went on sale. 8am came and I had my fingers on the buttons ready to try my best and get the cabins the customers had requested within their budget. My heart was racing and the adrenaline was pumping. This is how serious I take my job. Luckily for my customers they all got exactly what they wanted and were over the moon. I have worked in travel for 13 years now and I know unless you book within the first 30 minutes the best cabins will start booking up. True to form the Maiden voyage sold out almost as quickly as it went on sale. So why do people book so early? I mean it’s still over 2 years away. Well the first benefit is that P&O will offer 10% discount to anyone has booked with them before. if you haven’t booked with them you will still receive a 5% discount. On top of this Cruise.co.uk were offering early booking discounts to make sure we were cheaper than are competitors.  Besides from this P&O were offering on board credit choice of cabins and choice of Dining. For regular cruisers they know there will never be a better time to book this especially on a brand new ship. Everybody wants to be the one to say the have been on Iona. The biggest ship to be based on Southampton. If you haven’t booked yet there are still spaces. The early booking discounts will be staying around for a bit longer yet too.
