Watch out UAE I’m on my way…

Finally, after 5 months of waiting, buying a selfie stick (peer pressure made me do it) and last minute panick packing today, I am officially on my holidays for 11 days.

As I am now based in Spain, I have to fly back to the UK for 1 night before I join the overnight flight leaving from Heathrow on Saturday evening and arrive into Abu Dhabi early Sunday morning , then on to board the MSC Musica.

Then it is 7 nights cruising around the UAE and Oman with some much need sunshine (well for my two friends anyway as I get plenty of that in Spain). With cruise food and an all inclusive drinks package already bought and ready to go, there might be some dodgy photos in the next blog or two.. so apologies now.

It has been approximately 13 years since I was last in Dubai and with this itinerary, we have a full 2 days and overnight in Dubai port. I am looking forward to seeing how much it has changed and possibly will not recognise the place.  I am excited to see Abu Dhabi and really want to try and get to Ferrari world, as I am a bit of an F1 fan and love seeing the track when they race there.

I am also really looking forward to seeing Muscat, and after speaking to several of my returning guests whom have done this or a similar cruise, they have all given me some great tips on what to see and do.

I have friends whom are now based in Dubai on a full time basis, so I am pleased to be catching up with them too and seeing their new baby boy. My friend whom lives their has reminded me that it can be a bit pricey for food and drink, so thankfully the night we are docked in port they are holding a BBQ. I am sure it is not just because I am there but like to think it might be LOL

So watch out for the next blog, because I have been told to get plenty of photos, not just on the ship but of the destinations too. That way this could be a cruise you might consider for next winter too?

And with my new selfie stick it could get messy…
