Harmony of the Seas – Live from Southampton

Well, unfortunately I am not live from Southampton but several of my colleagues are and have sent through a host of information and photos of the worlds Largest Cruise Ship.

An Introduction to: Harmony of the Seas

Harmony of the Seas will be based from Barcelona for the summer season of 2016 and then will head to the Caribbean waters for the winter season.

Built in Germany and costing nearly £800 million (an obscene amount of money)  she is nearly 4 times the length of Big Ben. will accommodate approximately 5400 guests in 2700 staterooms, with a weight of 226000 gross tonnage, she is a big lady.

The newest ship in the Oasis Class, you can expect to see many of the familiar features of a Royal Caribbean ship. Ice rink, rock climbing wall,  specialty dining venues such as Jamie’s Italian, Sorrentos and much more. Unique to the Oasis Class you also have the Aqua Theater, Central Park Neighbourhood and Boardwalk Neighbourhood.

But not only is she the largest ship in the world, she also now boasts the longest slide at sea… the Ultimate Abyss, which is TEN storeys high.. would you dare?

With the best musical at sea ‘Grease’ (in my opinion anyway) to be their main Broadway show on board, an array of activities and shopping on board, will you want to get off and explore port?

So is she for you? are you booked already? would love to hear your feed back on what you think of the new Royal Caribbean ship.
