Catch up with the McIntyres!

I think what makes cruise.co.uk different is the fact that we are real people and as such have normal lives just like you. I love sharing my life with my clients and many of you have become friends over the years and for those that don’t know me that well here is your chance to meet me and my family.

Me being very patriotic!

Me being very patriotic!

In case you didn’t know then this is me. I hope I have not disappointed you in the fact that I am very normal. Well as normal as a 47 year old mother of four can be. As you can see in the picture I love joining in with everything and this was in fact the sailaway party from Gibraltar. I have been with cruise.co.uk for over three years now and most days I LOVE my job (the only days I don’t are when Icelandic volcanoes blow up and cause lots of problems with airlines!).

Conor and Bruce

Conor and Bruce

This is my 19 year old son Conor with my husband Bruce in Rome enjoying a small beer. Conor has just started his second year at Edge Hill University studying Sports And Recreation or something like that. Ultimately he would love to join the Police Force. He comes home every Wednesday night from University to train with our local RNLI station as a crew member and every weekend he is on call whilst he delivers groceries for Tesco.

Bruce is my toy boy and he told me to put that! Only by six months though and personally I feel I am wearing much better. He is a Manager at Tesco’s where Conor works part time and is just about to come in to his silly season known as Christmas. We will have been married for twenty years next year.

Ashley

Ashley

Now this lovely lady you will remember, if you read my blog,  has been quite poorly and had been suffering from seizures.  Ashley is 17 and was diagnosed with Non Epileptic Attack Disorder in May however she has now also been told she has Epilepsy and I have to say I am immensely proud of how she carries on with life. She has good and bad days but I think she is beautiful both inside and out and feel very lucky to have her as my daughter. She is currently studying childcare at college and is in the process of applying for University as she wants to work with Special Needs children.

Logan

Logan

Logan is 12 years old and currently in year 8 of secondary school. He attends Sea Cadets on a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday night and his ambition is to be an officer on a cruise ship and hopefully give his mum free cruises! He is my little helper at home and is always the one who volunteers to help me tidy up.

Frazer

Frazer

This is Frazer with Miley our Labrador. He is 9 years old and is the one that tries my patience the most but deep down he is a lovable rogue. He’s not sure yet when he is older whether he will be travelling in the front of a police car as an officer or the back as a criminal! When we were on our cruise recently we were at the Captains question and answer session and he put his hand up to ask a question. I of course was mortified as I had no idea what he was going to ask. He asked whether the Captain earned loads of money and did he get lots of women because he was the Captain. The crowd in the theatre dissolved into hysterical laughter and more so when the Captain good naturedly answered yes and yes.

This is Miley our most perfect 18 month old black Labrador who once you have fed her continues to stare at you as if to say that you have not fed her.  She comes to the office with me everyday and sits behind me to keep me company.

About Me

Some people are shopaholics, some are chocaholics and some like me are cruiseaholics! Okay you got me I am also a slight chocoholic as well. I guess my love affair for cruises began in the late 1970's when I used to watch "The Love Boat", which was an American TV…
