Luxury Cruising Silversea

I just found out on Sunday I have been given the opportunity to try out the luxury line Silversea. To say I’m excited is an understatement!

I have tried Azamara and Regent Seven Seas in the past. I do like the luxury lines they offer something completely different to the mainstream cruise lines. On the surface the prices might look high but remember there are lots of extras included. Take a look at these

We fly out to Athens at 7am Saturday morning with British Airways, on arrival we will be transferred to our new home for 4 nights. First stop is the Greek island Chios from here we go onto Kusadasi, then Santorini before disembarking in Marmaris on Wednesday.

One of the great reasons to cruise with the small luxury lines is the chance to visit small ports. The ships can access so many more places than the larger ships. The also get to benefit from longer port times. In Chios we dont depart until 11pm so plenty of time for dinner on shore should you wish.

Once in Marmaris we have around a 2 hour transfer to Dalaman airport for our flight home. If you are visiting Turkey you need to be aware that now it is a requirement to obtain a visa before you travel. I applied online and got instant approval, this cost $20.
