P&O Service Charges Increase

P&O Cruises have announced there service charge will increase from £6 to £7 per day thats an increase of 17%

How many of you keep the service charge on or do you prefer to remove and tip those who have given you good service. I personally like to tip and gift the ones who have given me excellent service especially our cabin boy and the waiters who probably earn the least on the ships!

On our last cruise my son discovered our cabin boy who was challed phatt from malaysia was a chocaholic and so for every port of  call we bought him a local bar of chocolate and gave him some of my sons secret stash of cadburys that he always brings with him and i think we made his week becos he gave us the biggest hugs.
