MSC are set to impress with Meraviglia

Over the past months there have been some amazing ships launched, Harmony of the Seas, Ovation of the Seas, Carnival Vista, Holland America’s ms Koningsdam. Next year it’s MSC’s turn to impress the cruising world. In June 2017 MSC Meraviglia will join their fleet and what a ship this is going to be!

A huge 167 000 tons, 19 decks, 65 metres high, 315 metres long,  5700 passengers, 2244 cabins…begins to give you an idea of the size of this new ship. There are so many highlights reading about this brand new cruise ship I will share my favourites with you…but I’m sure as we find out more this will grow.

For the very first time at sea Cirque du Soleil will perform two shows a nights on board. Entertainment has been stepped up on this ship with the 10,760sqft theatre and three shows each evening. Other highlights will be a 5 D cinema, a bowling alley, a tv studio, super amusement park, a zipline and not to forget a water park with four water slides!

Another of my favourite features is the reality mirrors when shopping….you will be able to see what the clothes look like on you without even trying them on…every woman’s dream when shopping!

There will be a Mediterranean style promenade with a huge led light roof which will be used for light shows day and night!

MSC’s Yacht Club is for those guests who want to cruise in luxury and this ships will be that and much more. Yacht club guests will have a private lounge, private pool, private lift, 24 hour butler and amazing accommodation.

Dining on board looks to be amazing with no less than 12 different dining options, including a cafe open 24 hours serving hot drinks and croissants..very Italian, there will be a Sushi restaurant, a Steak house and lots more. One worry guests sometimes have is that there won’t be the choice of food on an MSC ship and that it will all be Italian, that will definately not be the case on board this ship with so much choice for guests.

Looking at the images of the ship Msc Meraviglia looks set to be chic, stylish, glamourous, and very very impressive and I for one can’t wait for this ship to launch.
