Hi, we renewed our vows for our 25th anniversary this June on the Celebration. We didn't know before cruisiing exactly which date this was to take place as this is organised at the captains convenience once you have boarded, but it won't be on the captains cocktail night. The ceremony took place on the bridge which had been specially dressed for the occasion, complete with flowers , cake and bouquet. After the ceremony there is a champagne toast and a chance for more photo's by the ships photographer. We had approx 50 photos and a video of the ceremony at an extra cost of £150 but this is totally optional and you can view before buying. Included in the package is dinner at the captains table , however we declined this because we were a party of 14 plus baby. After the ceremony we had more champagne and canapes served in a reserved area of the Horizons bar. My huisband and I paid extra for this to thank all our guests . Our section head waiter knew that we were renewing our vows and really made our night special. On entering the restaurant he had lined up the waiters who sang and clapped us all in, our tables had been specially pepared, the evenings menu had been made into personnalised scrolls, it was so special and I was made to feel like a Queen. The whole cruise was so good we've all booked for next year .Please feel free to ask any more questions, hope this is helpfull ...Anne By the way I went the whole way and wore a wedding dress.

Another couple celebrated their 30th by renewing their vows on the same cruise but they only decided to do this after they had boarded. They invited a couple they had made friends with on board to help them celebrate and it was just as special for them. Even if there's just the 2 of you it's so romantic so just 'enjoy'. Hope you have a lovely cruise... Anne.
