Q: We are considering a 3rd cruise on the Independence of the Seas. However, a little concerned about the weather in February 2012 leaving Southampton and heading for the canaries. Will it hot ?? Many Thanks 2 answers

I think 'warm' is more likely than 'hot' although as with the weather here it varies such a lot. We went to the Canaries on 2 consecutive Easters - the first year it was hot, the second it was fleece weather! But whatever it is like, it's likely to be more pleasant than the UK!
