Nothing is certain but the weather can be very pleasant and warm at that time of the year but will certainly get cooler as you go north, in the fjords again it can be extremely nice but cools down early as the sun disappears. The Sea in the fjords is invariably calm the problem is often getting to the fjords and there are often some lumps in the waters of the North Sea. .... Neil.

As Neil says, it depends how far north you go. In June and July the sun does not set in most of Norway so I assume Neil menas that it can get chilly in the shadows in the fjords. We had temperatures of 25 degrees in Alesund in June this year but we had snow at the North Cape and in Svalbard. You tend to spend a lot of time on deck so a wind proof jacket is a wise investment. If you visit the Lofoten Islands the Viking Museum is definitely worth a visit. The North Sea has always been very kind to us, so I wish you similar luck. Enjoy your trip and expect to take hundreds of photos.

Yes rightly assumed for although the sun stays up it doesn't rise that high and is often below the tops of the Fjords although it is still light, Thanks for the help. .....Neil.
