The further from the uk, the warmer it gets. we stopped enroute to the caribbean at the azores and it was mid 60's, and true to british style, the shorts and t.shirts were on, you'll be sunbathing on deck before you reach your first caribbean port. your probably flying back so i wont mention the dreaded bay of biscay and the foul mid november weather we encountered on our return!!!

LONSDALE - Answered a Question by mclean (07 Sep 08 16:56)

We did this trip on ov last november, it was as smooth as a mill pond al the way to the carribbean, we stopped in maderia enroute and the weather was fine all the way, we didnt get an ounce of rain....maybe we were very lucky, overall we enjoyed our cruise however the sea days were getting to us and we were really pleased to see land by the time we reached the caribbean........enjoy.

SUPPLEMENTS THE CURSE OF THE ...

By Janet Goodwin

Sounds like something that JK Rowling could use a title for one of her novels but in the real world the word supplement strikes fear into the heart and wallet of many a single traveller. We receive quite a few enquiries where people make a comment about supplements and how unfair they are, but is the cruise industry cashing in or are the supplements part of a wider dilemma? Take hotels for instance; they charge a room rate and it doesnt matter if there are two people in the room or one perso...

Adonia back with P&O

By Gemma Coles

Gemma Coles's blog

It doesn’t seem that long ago when we said goodbye to the P&O Adonia. P&O Adonia left the fleet in 2015 with much sadness to lots of passengers. The ship went to Fathom Cruises which is a line dedicated to volunteer tourism. Guests were taken to locations such as the Dominican Republic to help teach English or build water filtration systems to help with poorer countries. Carnival Group have now announced that after an upgrade to the ship, with the addition of a new rest...
