Neil & Ida Down - Answered a Question by Smith (25 Oct 08 15:02)

Temperatures should go from low 70'F (20'C) in San Diego rising into the 80'Fs (28'Cs) as you go down and the weather at that time of the year should be fine and sunny. Just no guarantees as far as weather is concerned. Look out for whales there at that time of year. ... Neil.

Southhampton sounds like England to me. How would they know the weather in Ca. I live here and it is foggy and cold here in the winter. 60's max. San Diego is quite boring to tell you the truth. Jeanette CA.

Yes quite right, Southampton is England. I must have been lucky when I was there in San Diego, twice in December, so I was speaking from personal experience. As I said, however, there is no guarantee with weather and certainly as you go down the Mexican coast the temperatures increase. I am quite happy to bow to your superior knowledge, especially if you live in San Diego, but I do hope they experience the weather we had when we were there. Neil.

We were on the Oosterdam in April, she is a wonderful ship, not sure about the weather, but if you have any time in San Diego before you leave, Sea world and San Diego Zoo are a must, also try the lobster in Anthonys, next to the cruise terminal, and def don't miss eating out in Old town San Diego. Look out for Hunky Dory in the Lido and Soony and Adi in the dining room. I am so jealous never mind Im on the Noordam out of Fort Lauderdale in Jan. Have a brilliant trip.

I live in California. You can expect foggy damp weather in San Diego. in Mexico rain. Just be prepared. Jeanette CA.

Single Traveller on Celebrity ...

By Dawn Gardener

This week I would like to thank one of my clients for allowing me to use her story regarding a recent experience that she had on Celebrity Cruises. As per her wishes I will not be using her real name but she knows who she is, I think we agreed on ‘mad cat woman’ hahaAnyway, ‘Julie’ is a very professional single woman and likes to cruise. This summer after many previous cruises with the likes of P&O and Norwegian cruise lines, ‘Julie’ decided she wanted...

I’ve had my holiday booked since December last year and it’s finally here, It was my mum’s 60th birthday in October and as many of my customer’s will know they always go to India (Goa) for 6 months of the year, so we thought with it being her 60th birthday then we would go out and see them for two weeks and make it a special family holiday. We’ve been counting down the days for ages now, my suit case has been packed for over three weeks (I know that’s really...
