It is more than variable make sure you are prepared, rough is an under statement if your unlucky which in MAY you could well be.Tablets, waterproofs, several medium polly bags just in case your caught short on deck ect ect best of luck its a great cruise.

Changeable we went last May/early June and the weather was very variable but very cold and very wet in St Petersburg. I would suggest you pack some lightweight but waterproof over clothing and umbrella and definitely a sweater. It is easier to remove items of clothing and place into a bag rather than be cold and nothing to add to your layers of clothing. Oh I would take some gloves obviously only if you feel the cold as I do. Have a great time just remember to could get really nice warm weather as well motto be prepared.
