Have you heard anything from your TA about flight arrangements or cancelations?

yes been promised a full refund ,however have lost the price of the hotel in Manchester, and coach fares, also cost a fortune for insurance as I had a serious operation in February, we have a dog sitter who has travelled from Warrington to Durham. Obviously cannot be helped, we are of to the Highlands tomorrow and back to work 2 weeks early. Shame were looking forward to it

We will see you onboard as we have booked this cruise, flying from LHR to Charleston via Atlanta. Have you registered for the Celebrity connections party on the roll call on the Cruise critic site?

If you go to the CC site you will find a thread for the Mercury and a Roll call for the date of our cruise. You register for the party (it's free) You get a date and time and an invite in your cabin. Then you just join in the chat with your fellow passengers. There's a photo album to see some of us in advance so you can avoid the ones you don't like the look of!!! We didn't book with them either but they do it for CCritic members. We have booked excursions with fellow cruisers in Acapulco, Puntarenas and Puerto Vallarta.

Charleston weather in April is usually very nice, in the 70's. There may be some nice tours available for that area, it's a lovely town, steeped in history.

We also looked at this cruise but the thought of the 10 days at sea throughout the Cruise put me off, even though the price was excellent. It Maybe cool in Charleston to start off with but will warm up as you sail down towards the Panama Canal. On the Pacific side should be warm but again may get cooler the further up the coast you go. Not knowing your Ports of call, I can suggest that if you are calling at Acapulco then the Cliff Divers are worth seeing, also if you want to swim with Dolphins then Puerto Vallarta is the best place to do this.
