Q: Can you help we are booked with Costa and we are visiting China and Vietnam. Can you supply us with off shore visas during our stay. It seems a lot of money to obtain a visa otherwise when we will only be on shore for a few hours 2 answers

Whenwe did a cruise on Diamnond Princess last year which visited China and Vietnam we had to get our own visa for China if you did not have one you could not travel some people were put ashore before we entered Chinese waters as they Chinese would not allow you without a visa. The ship organised the visa for Vietnam and charged your ship account. Hope this helps

I would be careful here! People have been refused boarding for cruises visiting this part of the world whether they intend to go ashore or not. If a visa is required my advise is to pay up for peace of mind....Wilba
