It's possibly just a little too close to the stern for the transAtlantic bit if the weather kicks up, but that's being picky, its no big deal, esp on this fairly-low deck. And cabins around, above & below, so nice & quiet. Handy to the lifts, too - and they don't cause a noise problem. The price differential for a balcony cabin is usually pretty huge, OV's limited number of balconies book-out early & tend not to be price-discounted. Don't reckon you've done too bad there. ............ all first cruises are great, no need to waste money on an upgrade.. ..... laid-back ship, great for a newbie, have a good one. ............. Chris

I have stayed in E201 and E209 and found them both great with no noise and being fairly low is a good start for your first cruise. Was this the only cabin available? If not see if there is availability a little more central on this deck if possible which would be perfect. However, if none available then I am sure it will be fine. IMO you have chosen a good deck and would not ask for an upgrade . YOu will have a great trip I am sure - the first time is always amazing!! Have fun
