If your flights are not part of the Celebrity package then you will have to find your own way to the airport hotel at Miami (are transfers included?) normally the hotels run a free shuttle bus, or you can get a taxi easy enough. Most flights don't arrive to late in the evening, especially if they are not direct from LHR, so there won't be much time for sightseeing. Once you get to the hotle ask reception about a bus to the port, normally about $25 each, or once again get a taxi. Depending on the time of your flights home, you can do an excurtion from the ship around FL or Miami which drops you off at the airport. Happy crusing.

Last time we did it you meet a person with a clip board and lollipop with Celebrity on it you will have got your luggage and they get you onto a coach along with other cruisers your hotel will be in the Fort Lauderdale area it is on a room only bases.you will have filled in any p/work on line or have it ready they usually set up a desk in the foyer and book you in and tell you your coach time to the ship. The driver will give you instructions and you pass through a hall get your room cards and give them your passport. Your of the ship by 9-0 latest so you can spend a day at the airport with a book or hire a car book a tour before leaving the ship you may get the use of a room for the day but this seems to have stopped. You will know your hotel when your tickets arrive it also contains all you transfer vouchers so keep it handy?

To meet your fellow cruisers you should sign up for the connections party that Celebrity throw - this way you make tons of friends before you even board - go to celebritycruises.com > before your cruise > FAQs > then click on third link down that says c c connections. Yes, the last day is hideous if you have taken the cruise transfers - I always hire a car, do my own thin, shop and have lunch and make my own way to the airport. Otherwise you will be sitting there for 10+ hours so take a good book.....

A of N's advice is good, as always, and Fort Lauderdale is a good place to stay overnight. The flight will probably be with a scheduled airline unless you are doing a "Cruise only" package in which case come back to us. I suggest you ring Celebrity on 0800 018 2525, quote your cruise reference number and they will be able to tell you your flight times and the hotel they have given you. When you know that come back again and we can give you a lot more information. Regards. .... Neil.

They have done with me in the past but I know that's their policy, I think it is also who you speak to, but in the main, yes, you are correct . The thing is that these are essential things to know if you want to plan your time on holiday and not just go with the flow, Mr or Mrs Groutage are doing exactly what I would do because then you can make good decisions. I always find out what the Concierge's inside leg measurement is just in case I need it. ....regards. ... Neil.

So, the new Royal Caribbean ship The Symphony of the Seas has done her maiden voyage and will be delighting her customers as this ship is amazing.I was lucky enough to board her for two nights recently and she didn’t disappoint. Another ship in the Oasis class along with her sister ship, The Oasis, The Allure & Harmony of the seas. She’s identical to the Harmony. It’s so nice when you go on a brand new ship. I can see why everyone books in advance to get on any maiden vo...

Royal Caribbean seem to always be one step ahead from the rest when it comes to technology. They seem to be investing to make sure they have the infrastructure on their ships to have correct Wi-Fi and the latest technologies. The newer Royal Caribbean ships are all using a new technology, marketed as Voom which has improved internet access aboard. Here you can stream and watch videos on your devices easily.Royal Caribbean are also working on a new boarding process that uses facial recogni...
