NO, not on P&O. The prices you see are the prices you pay! They are one of the few cruise lines that do not do this. Because of this, you will not be hounded by drinks waiters on deck keep on asking you if you would like a drink, as on some other lines! You will however, be expected to tip the staff who look after your cabin and table at dinner, at the end of the cruise. Along with anyone else that you think worthy of it. i.e. Wine waiter. Happy cruising.
Thank you.I've being on the Aurora and Ventura, and saw that piece of info re the 15% in my Complete Guide to Cruising book!!!!!! The Arcadia is my next ship 2009.
On P&O the gratuity is included in the price and you dont need to tip further. Having said that P&O prices are amongst the cheapest on cruise lines .
P&O recommend total gratuities of £3.75 per passenger per day. If you choose freedom dining, where available, P&O will add £1.60 per day to your onboard account to cover the waiters tips!. Happy cruising.
