Just returned and the staff DID remove towels and books off sunbeds left unattended. I was well pleased to see this done. About time too. However, other than at sea days there is not a problem as O/V has large supply of beds.

You can get the deck chairs at the front of the ship, where you can see the beautiful view. Around the pools tend to be noisy, cramp and wet. Have a good holiday.

Sun beds are very difficult on sea days! Get up early and go to stern Deck 8 (can get very hot and crowded) or round Crystal pool. If you leave sunbed unattended for more than 20/30 minutes your belongings will be removed. This is a good idea as many people take too many beds and do not use them and others are searching all day to find a seat.

I never saw anyone removing the towels from the sunbeds and the " 20 minute rule" did not seem to be enforced. We looked everywhere for a sunbed and gave up in the end - not being inclined to join in the "towels on sunbeds brigade"!

Off to Rockley

Well it is finally time for my holiday. I am off to Poole in Dorset tomorrow to stop at Rockley Park for 11 days. I am really looking forward to a break and spending some time with my husband. It has been so hot the last few days with the heatwave we had and now the weather is turning and the forecast isn’t great for our time away. I wouldn&...

All in all we had a great cruise and I would without question sail with Royal Caribbean again perhaps next time we’d like to try one of the newer bigger ships. This cruise was our first as...
