Where You Can Smoke: Smoking is permitted in cabins, including balconies, on the open decks and in designated areas in most public rooms. Where You Can't: Smoking is prohibited in show lounges, elevators, dining rooms and all food service areas. Cigar and Pipe Smoking: Cigar and pipe smoking is permitted only on the open decks. We have just had a letter from P and O regarding our next cruise with them which states that smoking will be banned in all cabins and only allowed on balconies and in designated areas.....as princess is owned by the same company they may have change their rules by the time you go!!! Having said that we have never had a 'smelly' cabin having done some seven cruises up to now...so perhaps they have some 'magic' spray that eliminates the smells!!
