Dont worry about it. The way things are going you and the other half dozen non smokers will soon have the ship to yourselves!!
All inside public areas are non-smoking, except one section of the Players Bar/casino. There are several other bars, all n/s. Smoking is permitted in three deck areas - most decks, incl all outside snack/dining areas are n/s. Its folk like myself and Walsh who have the problem - not you ! But ov2 does its best to cater for both.
Smoking is permitted in cabins - if you have a balcony your cabin will certainly be fresh, even if Walsh or I were the last occupants, and I've not heard of problems with other cabins - the a/c seems to take care of it. Unless anyone else knows differently ???? Ps sorry, Walshie, but we're only 25% of the population these days.
Thanks Neal, that is reassuring, pat.
25%??? Could've fooled me after being on Island Star recently. The ship was a floating ashtray!!
Island Star. Written it down. Cheers mate.
Problem is the Star has been sold to a spanish line (Pulmantur) as from March, so it could all change. Ah.... well.. it was good while it lasted .
Spanish ? Then it WILL all change. Smoking will be compulsory.
