Q: Good morning fellow cruisers. Travelling on Queen Victoria next week, stopping at Dubrovnik. Does anyone know the price of walking the city walls, and the cost of a coffee at one of the cafes? Is it best to use local currency or euros? Many thanks 11 answers

Just been to Dubrovnik in September on the Queen Victoria. City walls are 70 kuna they only take kuna or cridt/debit cards, many people were caught out. There is an exchange neat the entrance.

Last year it was 70 Kuna to walk the walls. It is my understanding that they are only taking Kuna this year!

Thanks Bobby, & I will do a review when we come back for you. We have been on Queen Victoria a couple of times, and as far as I can see there is only the grills restaurants & top grills sun deck that you cant use. Everywhere else is open to everyone. If you want me to give you any other info in the meantime, let me know how to contact you. I think we live just down the road from you (about 40 miles) You will enjoy Queen Vic.

Do take some Kuna £30.00(worth) for two of you should be enough if you are also taking €uros. Kuna are needed for access to the city walls and museums inside. Do try the cable car it's a bit of fun with marvelous views from the top.

The entrance fee is €6. A coffee will cost you about €3 and a beer about €5. Euros are accepted in all bars, shops , taxi's etc...........Wilba
