Willard - Answered a Question by Willard (19 Oct 08 09:41)

Hi, Will answer this ? myself, having just been onboard. There is a UK socket in cabin, plus in the cyber-study. Around the ship they use 3 pin 100 volt sockets, no good for UK plugs.

Oceana has only 1, 3-pin socket over the vanity table, and you can use the shaver socket in the toilet for low level power use eg charging your phone/laptop etc if you have a 3- to 2-pin adapter. Best advice is to take a short lead 4-socket adapter. Wifi quite expensive but good reception in the cabin, but they only advertise pay as you go or a Ł35 package. When you try to login in however, you will find other packages that actually work out cheaper than the Ł35 one!
