Why do people repeatedly ask what the weather is going to be like during their cruise due to be taken some months in the future? HOW DOES ANYBODY KNOW? If we did, then none of us would EVER have our holidays effected by bad weather, would we? As BLYTH quite rightly says, the best weather forcasters in the world, with all their super computers, have trouble in correctly predicting the weather in 3 days time, never mind 3 months! If you would like to know what the AVERAGE temperature and AVERAGE rainfall is on Majorca, Sicily, etc at the time of year that you are due to take your cruise, then you can find out at any of the many websites such as WWW.WEATHER2TRAVEL.COM that provide this service! I hope that this will be of some help to you? As BLYTH also comments, cabins at the stern of the ship on Golden deck on the Island Escape do seem to suffer from engine/prop shaft vibration at various times. They are also sandwiched between two large eating and entertainment venues situated above and below, also producing noise at times. Hopefully your cabin will be situated towards the bow of the ship? Happy cruising.

Sorry. Meant to add, expect temperatures in the low 70s and it usually rains on around 8 days a month in the Med. towards the end of September/beginning of October. Please don't consider suing me if the weather that you ACTUALLY experience is not as stated! Happy cruising.

The weather period is more autumnly and you will still get warm days, but with temps much lower than say in June/August although a number of Med islands are warm all the year around like Malta and a the Greek islands. Given this you could find a few more days when the sea will be a bit rougher, but as we can't predict what the weather will be next week let alone in over 2 months time, hopefully you will find for the duration of your cruise the weather will be excellent and you can enjoy yourself to the full.

from previous reviews the cabins are not large and given the age of the ship and the way she is powered there could be engine noise/vibration.
