No we have not signed up for meet & mingle, how do we do that? The other website you refer to is that just the RCI website. We are obviously not as experienced as we thought! Thanks .

No, the Other website cannot be mentioned here (competition!). If you go to royalcaribbean.co.uk > contact us > FAQs and you will find M&M under before you board. This is actually the Other site - you have to register but once you get in you will find a whole world of info under the varous links. Sorry to be cryptic but if it get detailed it gets blocked! The M&M is a way to register for your cruise, you chat with your fellow cruisers before you go, get to know each other, and share tips for shore excursions. Well worth it. And on board RCI throw you a private party where Captain and other senior staff attend for a private Q&A session, free food and drink too!

We travelled on Celebrity cruiseship Millenium in 2006 to the Rio Carnival. We were in Port for three days.Celebrity organised the Carnival transport which is safe and what an exciting night we had It ALWAYS rains!! It also clears up as quickly as it comes on but a very lightweight longish jacket with hood will suffice. It is a tight squeeze but when the rain appears the people don't half disappear and there is plenty of room then to enjoy and dance the night away. We were booked for 2010 with Radiance of the Seas to return to Rio Carnival in 2010 but unfortunately it has been cancelled so make the best of 2009 trip it will be outstanding.
