When we did an excursion to Casablanca we were taken around the various parts of the city by bus, then had a guided tour of the Hassan 2nd mosque (one of the largest in the world - was actually fabulous to look around) and then to Harry's Bar (from the film). It was one of our best cruise trips.
Best ship in RCI's fleet in my opinion. She is bootiful! Many pictures of her to be found if you go to webshots.com and type in her name into the search box. Enjoy.
Casablanca: Most people go to the 'Medina' (market) which is straight up the main rd directly facing you as you leave the docks. A short walk up the road towards the roundabout & the entrance to the medina is on your right. The sights & smells can be a culture shock, but worth a look. If you turn left at the roundabout you come to the main shopping area which is quite good or least different to the medina. If you want a alcoholic drink the best bet is the Hyatt, also on the roundabout, in the nice piano bar on street level.
Sorry, forgot to say .. from Malage we went - again on a ships tour - to the Alhambra Palace at Granada. A must see in our opinion. We would not have done either this or the Casablanca day on our own, so excursions paid off in this case.
