we had $400 and it was a god send. We spent it on bottle of wine with evening meal, soft drinks during the day, trips and of course in the shop - you could get all your Christmas presents! Don't do what one man did and NOT spend it then think he could get the amount back in hard cash!

As other answers. Everything you buy on the ship - drinks, excursions, spa, dining upgrades, ship's shop, etc is charged to your on-board account. The $600 will be credited to that account ............. Chris

Just think of it as money in your bank account to draw on as you wish.........It's not a voucher that you have to hand over everytime you purchase something onboard..........Wilba

Anything you purchase on the ship its added to your account so if you wish to buy drinks or excursions even spa treatment,if your tips are added to your account you can use it for that ?just make sure you use it all up.
