Q: Settling your account. When settlingup or setting up your account what information do they need? What i mean is do they need the name on the card and card number? Do you need to sign or just enter your pin? Im asking because my Credit card is my birth name but i use my fathers (step) name for all other documents.	4 answers 610 views

You will need to present your card when setting up your account before boarding the ship.

You register your credit card at check-in and get a receipt. At the end of your cruise you get a statement of your balance and if it is correct you need take no further action your balance will be put on your card. As your name is different on card and passport you may need to check with the company . Did you pay for your cruise with this card? If so it may be OK. Do you have birth certificate to verify your name? I really don'y know the answer.

I have a birth certificate and i used the card to pay for the cruise. If they just need my card details and a pin at the end im ok ifi need to sign i wont. Dont want to carry a large amount with me. Will go to tompson tomorrow and check.

Good idea as you normally just show your card and sign form. Hope you get it sorted out soon
