You are generally allowed one suitcase per person up to 23 kg or 20kg or whatever the actual airline states. British Airways flights to US, for example, allow two cases each, each weighing up to 23 kg. You will need to read your travel documents for the specific allowance for your flight.

Hi we are flying back from the Caribbean and P&O use charter flights as Marshall said the the allowance is 23Kg and 5Kg hand baggage per person that is with Thomas cook i would think they are all the same for cruise charters?

You ar allowed 23kg of luggage for one person, so if is split between three cases its okay.
