Burrows - Answered a Question by Kirkbride (16 Jun 08 20:15)

BEWARE! Most cruise lines frown on you bringing such items on board to use in your cabin. They regard them as a fire hazard, and you can see their point of view? They are bothered about the safty of ALL the people on the ship, not just your ironing! Many people DO take a travel iron so as they can do that last minute touching up of their Formal dress without having to fight for an iron, but if you do, don't tell the Captain! Happy cruising .

You need a US type(2 flat pins) 110v transformer to plug a UK type 3 pin plug in your cabin. As Burrows says they're not keen on you using things like irons in your cabin, and personally I'm not going on holiday to iron :-) When do you sail? We're going on Friday for two weeks.

Thanks for your reply. We're off in August. I've been keeping track of recent reviews and it's looking really good. Enjoy your holiday and post a review!
