On the Sea princess, we had an American socket and a british type 3 pin socket. We used it to charge phone and plug in a travel kettle and it was fine.

Even if you have an adaptor plug , I believe that most Princess ships are 110v ( all 2 pin sockets are) ( check Berlitz guide or any comments on forum) so it depends what equipment you want to run and if it is compatible with this voltage . Check!! We tend to use power onboard for cameras / video batteries which will charge ( slowly) at 110v and take one adaptor and a 4 gang 3 pin extension for multiple use . Only works if you use low wattage devices. Ensure that the US 3 pin to 2 pin adaptors and the ship sockets that they are properly insulated . We tripped out most of our floor on Sea Princess in Gibralter due to the adaptor shorting on an unprotected socket.

Usually if you have a UK to US adaptor plug.
