Ocean Princess

OVERVIEW: This ship is best suited to young and not-so-young couples, and older singles who like to mingle in a small ship setting with pleasing, sophisticated surroundings and lifestyle, reasonably good entertainment and fairly decent food and service, all at an affordable price.

Costa Victoria

This was the first time that my wife and I have cruised. What an experience! Cruise ship was Azura evening dining in the Oriental Restaurant, faultless food and service. In fact the whole dining experience including the buffet was a real pleasure...  Read More >>

The Dream is great in size but the staff do a super job to keep you special. We stayed in an inside staterrom which was of an acceptable size with a virtual porthall, there was space under the bed to fit our suitcase...  Read More >>

Hi daly's theres a great video about 36 minutes long on youtube showing you the swimming pools. Type in Thomson Destiny Cruise ship-August 2010 one pool is about 5 feet deep in my opinion and this is next to a very shallow pool which is sectioned off for non-swimmers safety and kiddies of courseTthe other pool from my memory is around 6 feet deep. hope this helps, we are back on the Destiny in Sept .i really must take my tape measure. Kind regards Ernie

Question by Daly, Wishaw (10 Feb 12 22:14) about a COMMENT by Weatherhead (10 Feb 12 18:38)
Thank you the video you recommended on you tube was really good. We are going on the destiny in February and this will be our first cruise so it was good to see around the ship. We are staying in an inside cabin on deck 3 that sleeps 4 adults. Do you or anyone else know of any you tube videos that show the inside of these cabins?

Hi Daly's on page 205 of the Thomsons Cruises Brochure May 2011- Oct 2012 there are views of the lay outs of Cabins .The bottom one seems to be what yours will be like, two single beds plus two upper berths that fold away when not in use. There are a few other Videos on youtube of the Destiny try typing in Thomson Destiny Cabins see what comes up. kind regards Ernie
