Rae - Answered a Question by Percil (15 Nov 08 22:35)

That is a very good question! I looked in the Thomson brochure and can see this 'gap' in the sailings. It ends in Tenerife and then pops up in Lisbon about 2 weeks later! Very odd. Nobody has ever mentioned a mini-refit like Celebration at the moment. Maybe it is on some private charter cruise and the whole ship has been taken over by some group? Hope someone knows the answer.

Hi David, I found out because I know some of the crew working onboard. They had already been doing up some of the inside, such as the furniture in the Oaklahoma lounge. Rachel.

Hawaii FIVE O!!!!!

By Drew Lazarus

Hey! Back again with some more world cruise ports and pics! I think the shot above (the whale breaching the ocean) says it all. So whilst on tender duty in Lahaina , assisting passengers get ashore, I was fortunate enough to witness this through a tender boat window. I still look at the picture and think WOW!!! This was of course the high light of the day for me. There were a number of many different varieties of whales that were not shy and for want of a better word were parading around the...
