We have cruised on the Celebration and had no problems with charging anything i.e mobile phones, video camera and ordinary digital camera....If I remember rightly the tv and fridge were fitted with UK plugs so we just unplugged them when we wanted to charge up the batteries!!! the hairdrier was not as strong as mine at home but it was sufficient to dry short hair. I thought the sockets were the European style round two pin plugs but I'm sure thomson will advise you if you give them a ring. Celebration is one of our favourite Thomson ships and I'm sure you will enjoy your cruise!

110/120V - the sockets require a US flat 2 pin adaptor. The voltage is such t unless you have dual voltage items, it not strong enough to charge phones, run most hair straighteners etc. Guest Relations will charge phones, camcorders and camera batteries (as long as you bring your own charger) without charge. The hairdryer in the bathroom is not strong enough to dry anyone with any quantity of hair so bring your own (again making sure it is dual voltage). The alternative is to get a transformer to increase the voltage - adaptors don't do this.
