Bramham - Answered a Question by Woodard (30 Jul 08 22:09)

We went on the Destiny in april of this year around the med and we found it to be a very nice ship - as you say it does need a bit of sprucing up but on the whole its ok - maybe not as grand as some of the larger ships but as they say you get what you pay for! The food in the dining room was excellent and the waiters were very attentive - we were all inclusive and your glass was never left to get empty! The entertainment we found was very good but you had to get in the theatre early to get a seat. Having said this it was only our second cruise - the first one being with Fred Olsen which again was very good. Hope this is of help to you!! Happy cruising.

Hi Woody, we went on Destiny April 2007, October 2007 and April 2008. We're also booked on Destiny for October 2008 (10 weeks to go!!!) and January 2009 (Caribbean). The ship is old, but everytime we get on, you wouldn't notice. The crew onboard are the best in the industry, really friendly and helpful. We too were all inclusive, and had bottomless glasses that always seemed to fill up when we blinked!! I'm positive you will enjoy it - we did, that's why we keep going back for more. I hope this helps. Rachel.
