Emerald is being replaced with a larger more modern ship in 2010. It's part of the long term strategy to have more modern, larger vessels.

Hi have read on another cruise site that Thomsons are not replacing the Emerald, but will juggle the remaining four ships to cover the itineries. Hope this helps Taylabo.
