Not exactly a ball! Billed as a 'Cocktail Party' it takes place on the Tuesday evening, which if you are doing the Colourful Coasts itinerary is the day at sea. Everybody sits and expect to make your drink last the whole party. Enjoy your cruise.

We have just returned from Thomson's Colourful Coasts cruise on the Destiny and the Gala Night was on Tuesday, which is also the only full day at sea.We enjoyed the cruise very much, especially Funchal and Agadir, however the sea was a bit rough and has been for about three weeks. Ken and Sarah, Selby, North Yorks.

Our gala night was tuesday full day at sea also (read the above take travel ease gums they last 24 hours get them in boots) have a great cruise dont take the spoil sports seriously.i got back 6april dont miss the sail away party bon voyage.
