I tend to agree with you. Some seem to search for faults rather than enjoying themselves. On cruises some start complaining at the end of the cruise in the hope of obtaining discounts on future trips.

Every time someone raises a negative point to the cruise lines I am sure someone will be checking "do they mean us" Those of us who are happy with poor service probably deserve it,those who dont put up with second class service will hopefully raise the standards for everyone.Richard wilson lives on!

Well said, we have disembarked behind people before and listened to their constant complaints! Thing is, we've had the most stunning time, no complaints, fantastic service etc...... Maybe it makes a difference if you are actually a person with a sunny smile, sociable, happy nature and remain polite at all times. I reckon some folks just like to be miserable and complain. By the way, next time you're cruising, take time to say hello to the cleaners in the public areas, you know the ones who spend their lives keep the bannisters sparkling and the tiolets immaculate and well supplied. THESE PEOPLE are the unsung heroes of the ship, we all take care of our cabin Steward/ess (or at least we SHOULD do) but these guys don't, just imagine ship life without them. HAPPY CRUISING, REMEBER YOU ARE A VERY LUCKY PERSON.

I agree we were standing behind someone who said they would not go on thomsons cruises again as they we letting to many working class people aboard (What a cheek) And then there was the lady who complained about her port hole wouldnt open. How daft is she and the guy who asked why the ship didnt have a snooker table. It make you think.

FUNICULAR FUN IN BERGEN!

By Hannah Wilson

So on our recent Fjords cruise on Balmoral myself and Holly decided that having splashed out, quite literally, on the Rib Adventure in Eidfjord that we would just do our own thing in Bergen, get off the ship and wander around, however, just outside the cruise terminal we happened upon a Hop On Hop Off Bus Stop and decided that we would have a tour round Bergen on that, covering more ground. The tour takes around an hour and you get a good taste of the city, Norway’s second largest, all ...

A mini cruise to remember..

By Ruby Perkins

Ruby Perkins's blog

I’ve just come back form a cheeky three night mini cruise with the girls so I thought I would give you a sneaky peak at some of our best bits.We were a large party of twelve with a mixture of friends, some who had met through www.CRUISE.co.uk. Some of us are still here but others had moved on to pastures new, so it’s always nice to catch up with everybody to see what people have been up to and what’s new in their lives. Not everybody knew each other which was also nice as we all...
