We did this cruise and did the three main excursions. Approx. £70 each but worth every penny. Valley of the Kings and Karnak were amazing, and Petra was a lot of walking but worth seeing. If you can manage it go all the way! The price includes entry fees and lunches at five star hotels. Really good food and tons of it with wine.

Last year it was £70 each. It's a long day but if you have not done Nile Cruise then it's the best way to see valley of the kings and Karnak.Problem you get back to the boat late you are greeted by the crew on the dock with drinks towles and entertainment but you still have to pack to have your cases out in time so if you can pack at least one case it will be a help when you get back. Tip! book your trips as soon as you get on board!! you should then be on the first coaches. You not only get ther earlier you have longer there. Dont wait for the port show case.Lovely cruise but all docks are industrial. ENJOY.

Some go with friends, but want to have the privacy of their own cabin to sleep in.Cruise holidays are a perfect option for people who travel alone. You can have plenty of ‘me-time’, but you ...

My Visit to see the MS Emily Bronte

By Steve Fuller

Steve Fuller's blog

I was luck enough to be invited to see the new MS Emily Bronte. This was only a day trip but worth it all the same. An early start to the day travelling to Birmingham to be met by Riviera representatives and then a short flight to Dusseldorf followed by an hours transfer to where the ship was. I can see why River Cruises are very popular. Compared to an ocean Liner that are huge in size, River cruises give you a more intimate feel and are able to get into the heart of Cities. Some with excurs...
