Cna't advise re the tea and coffee. But the hair dryers are not too good. If you can get hold of a hairdryer that works on the US 115 volts you will be doing yourself a favour as the in cabin ones are attached in their draw by a very short wire, are cool and I can blow with more force than they produce. Depends on your hair I suppose - it was OK for my husband but not good for me to style with.
