I have been on that cruise a couple of times, it is easy to do the tours on your own, there are lots of taxis about and its alot cheaper than the ships tours which are expensive.

We have done is cruise more or less every year since the days when "the topaz" sailed and will be doing it again next month. all trips are very expensive and not worth the money. the best way to do any trip on ony cruise is to pal up with another couple and do it by taxi negotiating the price first. enjoy your cruise you will be back.

I have just returned from colourful coasts on destiny and asked the questions about costs of excursions i must agree with your recent answers to do them via your own steam much cheaper. Didn't get off at morocco as didn't fancy it and with the reports from fellow passengers I am glad I didn't. Fab holiday Thanks to all the team aboard destiny.

Not for the faint hearted.

By Jo Cunningham

I have worked on the cruise industry for around 20 years now and can’t believe how much the industry has grown and has changed. I love the way it is developing to attract new customers and people of all tastes. When I started selling cruise it was very traditional and had an image of being calm and sophisticated. Then Ocean Village launched ‘ the cruise for people who don’t do cruises’ and now Carnival Corporation have just linked with Rainforest Adventure to celebrate...
