CANARIES

Great cruise. Flew from Gatwick. No real problems, although arrived at ship about 45 minutes late. Then getting our room and card organised took about 15 minutes, which, after a long day travelling, seemed an annoying wait. The room itself was good- level 6...  Read More >>

We have recently booked for 7 nights on Navigator in a few weeks time. For some reason, My Time Dining wasn't offered as an option in the booking field, and nor have we been given the option to choose the size of table we would like. I know that these were pre-bookable options on our previous cruises.

We have been allocated 6pm dining, which should be OK for us, but we would have preferred My Time. Can anyone tell me if they have stopped offering My Time dining and table choices on Navigator?

Many thanks for answers

I have just come home from a cruise on Navigator. We had my time dining but I was quite disappointed with it as the idea was for us to choose our dining time but in reality, even though we booked all our times at the start of the week we still didn't get when we wanted as they said they were full. Also we asked to sit with others but this only happened on two nights. Next time I'd book for a certain sitting. Have a good time.

It may be because you have booked late that all the my time dining has all gone, if its what you want then I suggest when you get on board,go to MDR and see the Maitre'd, there will be others as well wanting to change i'm sure...just remember if you go my time you will have to pay your gratuities, just saying as many don't...Brian

Thanks for the answers. We booked direct with RCI, so will call them to query this. We have pre-paid gratuities anyway, as it appears to be compulsory now, regardless of dining arrangements.
