Deck 8 is not Prom deck, its a passenger deck & your 3 decks above the Entertainment Decks. You will not encounter noise on deck 8......Wilba.

Thanks Wilba and all who answered my question its great being able to speak to people who have actually experienced these ships the travel agents will tell you anything to get a sale there are 4 of us going on the May sailing from Southampton on Voyager of the Seas to the Med judging by all the comments it look likes we have made a good choice.

Hi! Yes all the Voyager class ships are a great choice & if I can add to your comment about Travel Agents, use a cruise specialist such as the freephone on this site. Cruise specialists know about cruise ships because they are dedicated to cruising & cruising only & can give advice, very often based on actual experience. Their deals will more often than not, beat the High St clowns hands down.........Regards Wilba.

I am taking a guess at possibly what is confusing you here. If you look on the deck plan of deck 8 - right in the middlel it states royal promanade - This is only refering to the open area in the middle which looks down into the royal promenade shop and bar area.

Benefits range from discount on board to priority booking and exclusive on board benefits. But are they really all its made out to be or are we limiting our options by being loyal.Im going to focus on P&O because they are the most popular but a similar comparison could be made with other cru...

Cast your mind back to 2015. and the sad news when P & O told us that the much loved 710 passenger adult only ship ADONIA was leaving their fleet.Lots of the small ship lovers were devastated as so many huge new ships were coming onto the market leaving a vast hole for the smaller more intimate ships. We were told she was joining Fathom Cruises a line that enables guests to do something good to help out poorer countries. AN INTERVIEW WITH A SINGAPORE EXPERT

By Zara Kelly

Zara Kelly's blog

It has been over 10 years since I last visited Singapore, but my Mother in Law is a regular visitor. The main reason is to visit her nephew and family, but while they are at work she loves to go off and explore. During this visit, she was also treated to a lovely weekend in Bali!As I sat looking through the pictures and listening to the stories, I was amazed at how much Singapore has changed. So, I have done a short interview with Jane, who has also kindly let me share some of her wonderful p...
