Wilba - Answered a Question by Boey (16 Jan 09 20:05)

Cape Liberty is south west of The Statue & you will be turning south out of the docks. You will need to be port side on the outbound journey for The Statue & Manhattan but I would take binoculars as you will not be that close....Wilba.

We did New York in 2001 and was really surprised how small the Statue of Liberty was, I always thought it was rally high, but still nice to see.

I should have added, if you are spending anytime in Manhattan pre or post cruise, the Statten Island Ferry is the best free ride going & it passes close to Liberty & Ellis Island. Just jump on....Wilba.

Thanks for your answers. I have changed my cabin to be on the port side , and when we stay in Manhatten post cruise I will certainly use the Statten Island Ferry.
