WHAT? Are you still at Glastonbury? Who and what is the great thing? I totally despair! Are we going on the same ships as these people? What is in store for normal folks? God help us!

Pedantically Ernest - replied to Neil and Ida Down (19 Aug 08 12:10)

Hi Neil & Ida, delighted to see you are still'founts of all knowledge're cruising. As you write from Southampton you should apply to Cunard for a job on the help desk. I tried to get some info re the tremendous difference in size of P1 'cabins'on Q.V.as shown in the Voyages brochure, and did'nt get very far!! I concluded that the smallest were possibly the P4's with curved balconies(deck 4) and the largest, the two P3's with wheelchair access (also on deck 4)which appear to be twice the size of the rest of the 'P's', (which I estimate at cica. 345sq ft each)and, regardless of which deck, are as alike as two 'P's' in a pod. Which brings me to my apology!! Earlier this year I asked whether you might be related to Ben Down of Bradford, but remembered later that his name was actually Dover. Sorry!! I hav'nt looked at Cruise Answers for some time but am delighted that you continue to offer your helpful and (occasionally)tongue in cheek comments!

I can understand why a couple have posters have got this wrong. You (Did you?) Mispell greet? I know that you will not find it funny but Glastonbury is not renowned for its conservative behaviour. There will be many comments I am sure. I do hope you meet and GREET! many people. Good luck.

Cast your mind back to 2015. and the sad news when P & O told us that the much loved 710 passenger adult only ship ADONIA was leaving their fleet.Lots of the small ship lovers were devastated as so many huge new ships were coming onto the market leaving a vast hole for the smaller more intimate ships. We were told she was joining Fathom Cruises a line that enables guests to do something good to help out poorer countries. So Volunteers through tourism can help locals learn English and build...

Mans best friend

Annika Pickering's blog

Hello again from frosty Yorkshire!Anyone who knows me , knows that I absolutely adore dogs. I have three dogs, Tilly, Oscar and Teddy and I love them all. Oscar hobbles around on three legs and Teddy is stone deaf, so Tilly looks after them both and she’s the little bossy madam!Another thing I love though, is going on holiday, and I know some people who either don’t go on holiday or only go away in the UK because they just can’t bear to leave their little pooches behind. Not...

Last month Princess Cruises announced its summer European plans for the upcoming 2018 season. The cruise line will have 5 ships based in European waters for the 2018 season. The major change is that the Sapphire Princess will be comimg over from the Far East to Europe for the first time, I think this is to make way for the new Majestic Princess that will be in Asia from May next year. With 57 unique itineraries, visiting 35 countries in Europe this opens open a few more new options for Princess...
