If you want good service tip at the end of the cruise give the room service a tip if you wish, you would not tip in a restaurant on land before you had your meal ? so why do it on a ship.

No, please don't. Tip the person a dollar or two when they bring anything from room service and then do like the rest of us...settle you tips at the end of the cruise.... Neil.

You are joking, aren't you? You will see from the current discussion that thwe vast majority of people are against any tipping at all! It is a complete anachronism which will gradually die out on alol but USA owned ships over the next ten years.

I find the tipping abit of a chore so i let them take the money out for us, you have a choice if you want to use there tipping system. so i always go for that.

Would you telephone a restaurant, book a table, then say 'oh by the way, I'd like to tip you before I have my meal. Don't think so!

Miami airport was so boring it took us 2 hours to get out. We stayed in Fort Lauderdale for a night and got on the cruise ship the next day. We checked in but had to wait about 30mins before we co...

The latest technology available in the near v=future on Royal Caribbean is facial recognition. the latest technology is already functioning on Allure of the seas and oasis of the seas and will be found on 13% of the fleet. So what does this mean?It means passengers can now check in really quickly thanks to their pre loaded photo, open their cabin doors without a keycard and a luggage tracker will monitor their bags and send them an alert once the luggage has arrived to the cabin.
